Low-to-High Cable Fly
A low-to-high crossover: it emphasises the clavicular portion of the chest with constant tension and no joint stress.
How to do it
- Pulleys in the low position, a slight fixed elbow bend
- Bring your hands up and towards the middle
- Squeeze your chest as you cross in front
Sets, reps and tempo
Ranges: 12–20 reps · 0–2 RIR
Tempo: Open for 2 s under control, bring together and squeeze 1 s
Common mistakes
- Bending your elbows (it becomes a press)
- Using torso momentum
- Losing tension by opening too far
