Floor Crunch
The basic crunch trains the rectus abdominis through a short, controlled range.
How to do it
- Lying down, hands on your chest or temples
- Curl your shoulders towards your pelvis
- Lower under control without fully resting down
Sets, reps and tempo
Ranges: 8–15 reps or 20–45 s under tension · 1–2 RIR
Tempo: Slow, controlled movement; no momentum and no bouncing

- Pulling on your neck with your hands
